Percy Jackson and the Olympians By Rick Riordan

Welcome to the world of Demi-gods!

Percy Jackson is your typical dyslexic teen. Except for one minor thing: being the son of the Greek god Poseidon isn't exactly normal, is it?

Percy Jackson is welcomed into the Greek world with open arms after his mother was killed by the deadly Minotaur. His long time friend Grover is as boisterous as he ever was. I mean, everyone has their quirks, right? But does everyone have a furry butt and hooves? Grover is a Greek creature as well! Percy learns that the Greek world blends perfectly in with modern society, while fighting the everlasting threat of the not-so-nice creatures of the Greek "myths".

The adventure never stops in these books. It's a great way to get informed about the Greek stories while entertaining yourself. It's how I got interested in the myths myself!
